It all started in
Rhode Island...

Adam G. Mignanelli was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island.  Receiving his BFA from Parsons The New School for Design in New York City and also studying at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, Adam received the Type Director’s Club Scholarship and was named a Henry Wolfe Scholar.

His career began interning with various magazines throughout the city, graduating into working for companies such as Roadrunner Records, Cubanica Design Studio, Zoo York, SPIN Magazine, to VICE Media and their internal global ad agency Virtue Worldwide where he worked on creative development with top brands such as Nike, Intel, Vodafone, Warner Brothers, Heineken, Ford and more. He was the Creative Services Manager for DIESEL, USA in 2012 , Design Director at M BOOTH.

He is currently back at VICE Media as the Design Director

He also founded and runs Ballast Projects, a new independent curatorial initiative.

The focus of this platform is to curate and exhibit emerging artists that are currently redefining contemporary art and painting.

Ballast Projects offers an art advisory service for private clients and companies in need of  discreet art consultation and private curation.
